Honda
Powering the next generation of car ownership

Owner on board
Honda wants drivers to get the very best out of their cars. And a digital key on your mobile phone is just the start.
Usage analysis, remote interactions, and real time information creates a new kind of ownership experience. The automotive company’s first connected car app would increase customer retention and create a platform for new services and new income opportunities. We got together with IBM and Digitas to deliver a deeply integrated digital customer experience for Honda’s latest e-model.
Quick start
Honda works on a federated development model, with several agencies combining work streams when necessary. The Honda connected car app is no different. Working closely with development partners at IBM and Digitas, Great State dug deep into technical capabilities, ensuring that the app delivered against the objectives of Honda’s European market. With eight years of partnership guiding the way, Honda and Great State set out to create an industry-leading connected car app to power the next generation of car ownership.

Cruise control
Launched alongside the roll-out of the Honda e in Europe, the connected car app enables owners of compatible cars to use and share their vehicle with just their phone. A wealth of control, safety, and service features enhance the ownership experience, with improved signposting and UX creating a seamless user journey.
Remotely, owners can track a stolen vehicle, check the charging status of an EV, and schedule a comfy temperature for tomorrow’s commute. Send journey navigation to your Honda car, access digital roadside support, or connect to Honda’s Electronic Vehicle Health Check platform for service updates for a wholly integrated digital customer experience
